Should Trump be added to Rushmore?

There's two separate topics. One is the fact, not opinion, that electoral college votes are representative of the individual state's popular vote.

Are you claiming that George W. Bush had a greater percentage of the popular vote in 2000 - and that all the whining by the democrats was based on lies?

To be representative electors would have to be allocated based on the percentage each candidate receives.

39 states use a "winner takes all" method - meaning that in a case of 49.999% to 50.001% - all of the electors go to the one who barely exceeded in popular vote.

Worse than that, we have two states, California and Oregon who assigns elector to the the democrat regardless of who has the highest vote count.

Only 9 states allocate based on popular vote.

This is true whether it's winner take all of divided by percentage of the vote.

What an ignorant claim. We have repeatedly seen candidates win the popular vote but lose the election.

The issue with why the EC doesn't always reflect popular vote is separate topic.

You just said it does - that the EC is based on the popular vote.

You seem highly confuse, incapable of forming a cogent idea.

IF EC votes were distributed correctly, EC votes would match popular vote.

Correctly?

ROFL

However, an EC votes in Wyoming counts double that of an EC votes in California.

Ignorantly false

Each elector has exactly one vote. No more, no less. Regardless of what state they come from.

Examples like that are why the EC and popular votes don't always align.

Ignorantly false. They don't align because the EC is not based on the popular vote. The "winner take all" approach
