Cultural appropriation is inextricably tied up with aesthetics and it is not a new phenomenon. If we take a look at art history, cultural appropriation has been going on for centuries, and many of the world’s most celebrated art movements and objects are the result of it. Greek sculptures, and particularly their freestanding, life-size nudes, called ‘kouros’, clearly show the influence of Egyptian art. The Romans appropriated large amounts of Greek culture, and so on.
Fast-forward to the 20th century and ‘great’ artists, including Picasso, Gauguin and Matisse, formed modernism out of appropriating other cultures’ art, crafts and artefacts into their revolutionary practice. If you haven’t seen Alfred Barr’s famous flow-chart for modern art, it shows the notion of borrowing art forms from other artists and cultures played a defining role in creating modernism.

The most beautiful women in the world are the White - skinned women of North-West European/Scandinavian descent. For example, English women, Swedish women and White, Anglo-American women (like Paris Hilton).They were called members Aryan, Teitonic or Nordic race.
The ugliest women in the world are indigenous Sub-Saharan, Black African women: squashed noses (with bones sticking through then), giant blubbery lips, bugger eyes, saggy tits, fuzzy hair, no curvaceous, "hour glass" figures etc.

Colors on a map does not indicate ratios or percentages. Western China is sparsely populated compared to eastern China, and the ethnic minority populations of western China are insignificant compared to the Han Chinese of the east.
If you want to walk into a State Department meeting and holler that China is basically as heterogenous as Brazil and United States, you need to be prepared to be laughed out of the room.
Once again, I clearly, explicitly , and conciously wrote that Russia and China are largely homogenous, not universally homogenous.

Race is a biological construct. Race is genetically determine. That's a scientific fact.
Aesthetics was a branch of philosophy - the philosophy of beauty. As far as beautiful women are concerned I was referring to their objective, PHYSICAL beauty only.

Many ethnic and racial groups in China are not Asian? Can you name a few? Or even one?
I could be wrong, but I cannot think of a single group in China who is not from Asia. In fact, many of the non-Han groups in China have been in their part of China for longer than the Chinese have been in their part of China. For instance, the Tibetans have been in Tibet for longer than the Chinese have been in Tibet, and are definitely from Asia.
Pogroms originally referred to Czarist Russia attacks on Jews, usually using Cossacks. It has since expanded to mean attacks on any ethnic group, but would rarely be applied to the Cossacks as the victims. I am trying to figure out what you are talking about. The USSR did not always treat Cossacks well, is that it?
Europe has many ethnic groups, so saying Europeans are homogeneous is silly. What America did do was create a melting pot where ethnic groups mixed, and were all considered one.
