My .220 is quite accurate nearly out that far, and cheaper to shoot. I have an M1-A (.308), but that's sighted in at 200 yd. The .50 is like $6 or so a round. Too much to waste...

That's true, and housing is hard to find too. It's too bad that the clowns in congress can't stop fighting long enough to figure out a way for the illegals to become legals. Like everywhere else, we have a shortage of workers in the service industry, medical field, industry, education, retail, etc.

I picked off a groundhog at 780 yards with my .220. It sports a 6 1/2- 20X Leupold Gold Ring. One of my friends has a Barrett .50, but yeah, if one can afford a .50, they can afford the ammo.
