Sick to death of all the sock accounts around here

I would submit that there is no secret that some of these are allowed here, folks still join... some of them join then post and enjoy the site the way it is... others like to complain a bit first.

I believe anyone who uses a sock maliciously is very dishonest, both online and off. Such people reveal themselves to be either very mentally ill or dishonest and probably criminal in nature. I hope such people are monitored when they are around kids. Sad.

If you read through the thread you'd see that the majority of your members think only one account should be allowed.
Oh right, you really don't give a shit. Got it.
Or at least limit it to two.

FWIW, Mods should get a freebie; one when wearing their mod hat and one when wearing their play hat.

Before Elon Musk acquired Twitter, there was indeed a narrative from the left suggesting that private companies like Twitter should have the autonomy to moderate content as they see fit, often encapsulated in statements like "it's a private company, it can do what it wants."

This perspective was frequently highlighted in discussions about content moderation and freedom of speech on social media platforms.

After Musk's acquisition, observers noted a perceived change in rhetoric among left-leaning individuals. The argument that "private companies can do what they like" seemed to be less emphasized once the platform's policies began to allow different political viewpoints under Musk's ownership.
