So the CEO of Costco wants the minimum wage raised to $10.00/hour. Ironically he pays his employees a starting salary of $11.50/hour. Good on him for that.
Now is his call for raising the minimum wage to $10.00/hour an act of compassion which will fool low information voters like Rune, or is there something else at play?
Could it be that the CEO of Costco just wants to use the government to raise the costs of his competitors thus putting him in a much better competitive situation? Seems to me he is doing nothing more than rent seeking and playing to the low information voters who will proclaim "See, he cares about us"
