I would love to answer that, but I have to know how you view "child support as it is currently structured?"
My guess is that I know more people on the left...and pro-choice people than you...and I can tell you that of the MANY I know, there is not a pro-abortion one among them. NOT EVEN CLOSE. You are dead wrong on that.

Both the federal government and state governments have a very hard row to hoe. Both know that most of their important decisions will be hated by about 40% of the people...and will be unpopular by even more. I prefer the federal government to deal with these kinds of things.
I am one of those people...for the reasons I mentioned. If you think me to be a monster...so be it.
I think it is reasonable to allow a woman to terminate a pregnancy occurring in her own body at any time she chooses...and 99.999999% will choose as early as possible.
I would be willing to compromise, as far as law is concerned, with mid-second trimester. But if we allow the crazies on the right to start with "the moment of conception" we have no chance of any compromise.
