In more ways than one: gerrymandering is one way. The redistricting accomplished by Republicans in both Texas and Florida assured Republican victories with a minority vote for a few years to come. IMO, human nature is to dislike such tactics and the Republican Party will pay a price for their authoritarianism.
Trump will be in court or jail. I have to think SOME repubs will be disgusted by that.
