I do stand corrected .. it was a reprimand and the censure did fail ... actually I was going by memory from a discussion long ago .... I probably should have googled before I posted ...
 
I also stand corrected on the male prostitutes age ... he was 28 at the time .. it was Congressman Stubbs also of Mass. who had the thing with a 17 year old page boy in 1983 .... obviously I mixed the two up ...

Well, Jesse James is widely reported to have responded when asked why he robbed banks that that was where the money was. So what better place for a pedophile than heading up a pornography hearing. At last he could look at all he wanted and call it getting evidence. Or he could call in a bunch of victims to describe their ordeals and get off on that perhaps. Look at the voyeurism in the Ken Starr report more than one or two pundits has remarked on his attention to detail. I always thought he was more than an little strange.

I was wrong about one thing, I thought he was a little slicker with his game given the initial report. If he was talking to young boys about being horny and in their boxers, I initially gave him way more credit than he deserves.
