Wouldn't you get behind a bill that forces the NFL to accept women? The answer is yes you would.

So it isn't a question of Christian fundamentalists trying to impose their will via the government on the NFL but rather it's a question of your use of government to advance your agenda.

And that's all this is about because you - when you're not trolling also claimed that women can operate sufficiently on a military combat team so that means they could also perform sufficiently on an NFL football team.

They may not be physically capable of being in the special forces, but some men can't meet those requirements, either. I'm glad you busted me on that. I went for the verse I had so many people tell me about in the Church setting and I can't find it. You solidify my point that Religion is the reason people judge gays.

NASCAR went through that battle about a few years back with Danica Patrick. Today.....FINALLY....other drivers are talking about her talent, not her sex.

Your attempt at equating the two ideas fail; because no one is FORCING gays into the NFL; but instead they are trying to FORCE them away from playing in the NFL.
Is there a law that says women CAN'T play in the NFL; because if there is, then you should use it to try and make your failed comparison? :palm:

I don't think the government should be telling any private business how to operate or who they should or shouldn't hire . But that's how constitutionally weird I am.

The point here is that the bill that's being introduced will either be supported by individuals on this thread or rejected by same depending on what the bill is and what it will do.

If the NFL had a ban on homosexuals and some lawmaker offered a bill to lift the ban, then the people who are outraged at this bill proposal and the person who presented it would do a complete 360 and support it and him /her presenting it.

Tell me what the difference is between a military combat team and an NFL football team except for the obvious being an NFL football team is a moral version of the other. My analogy here with women on combat teams vs women on NFL teams is using the logic applied to both by the opposition to this proposed bill. both the NFL and the army believe that women aren't physically capable of performing the roles demanded of them from both.
