You can get the insurance business out of subsidies and still have them in the marketplace. Regulation is a separate issue from that.

You're avoiding the point. Employer based health insurance is a massive subsidy program. Congress' plans more so. Until you tell me exactly how you get those two off the dole, then we can't discuss ACA subsidies.

So long as the employer is paying the tab, not the government, this isn't a problem. The problem remains it is insurance, not market driven. There's a better way to do employer health coverage.

Almost exactly what we pay now since the so-called subsidies for the gas and oil industry are almost entirely not actually subsidies but called such by the radical Leftist environmental front to make those companies look bad.

The insurance system is the system we have now. You're not going to change it, so lets extend those subsidies and open back up the government.

Extend the ACA subsidies - open up the government. It's in the Republicans hands, unfortunately for America - because again -

Explain how you are going to get the employer to 'pay the tab'. Are you taking away the tax deduction for all health insurance premiums? Even from individuals?
