hey idiot, how could I be pretending to put a board up "free of insults" when I explicitly stated petty insults were allowed?
I'm new here so maybe I don't understand all of the ins and outs. I, for one wish you luck. What I don't understand is all the griping about the founders giving it a try with just one additional board category while several others remain unchanged. Isn't it the same principle as with the radio or TV? If one doesn't like the subject or the rules, use the mouse, go elsewhere and let the powers that be give it a try. As one who watched another board disintegrate and then disappear for similar reasons, I commend you and, again, wish you luck. It might help attract and keep posters not interested in the thrill of personal attack.

Call me an "idiot" but I take that to mean the "NEW" board is supposed to be free from insulate trash talk which has nothing to do with the topic, and the War Zone board is now the place for that sort of thing.
And no, you didn't "explicitly state petty insults would be allowed" ...you stated in the rules, they were allowed when not clearly bothersome and uninvited by the receiving party. I think I have clearly stated that being called "retarded" and "idiot" is bothersome to me and it was completely uninvited. I also challenged ANYONE to step forward if they didn't consider being called a "retard" or "idiot" offensive!

And I would ask the posts be DELETED and not merely edited to replace "bad words" with "bad word" because that kind of defeats the whole purpose.
