They really believe that they can gaslight you into believing the guy loved Charlie "so much" he had to just be killed. It's beyond stupid. They know what the Governor said after talking with the family, but they are sick of pretending they disavow violence from folks on their side of the political aisle they are willing to go to extreme absurdity... Nobody is going to believe what they are saying, even they don't believe what they are saying. It is beyond stupid, and doesn't really merit much more response than "stop it, nobody is that stupid"...

Exactly! On the same page. Its ridiculous which is why for the most part I have stayed out of these type threads,....they don't merit our time.

A white, middle class, radical lefty in Utah never made a lot of sense.

This kid and his family may have been gun-toting MAGAs, but maybe this kid recently developed a mental illness and became insane.

Why? There were over 562,000 people in Utah who voted for Kamala Harris in the last election. Why PRETEND there are no left wingers in Utah when everyone knows doing so only serves to make you look silly.

He is at the age where schizophrenia often manifests. From what I've read he was an outstanding student, very bright, and a huge gamer. His family was also into hunting and gun ownership, but I've seen no reports that they were radical about it. Just regular conservative people who enjoyed the shooting sports.

That's what I have heard. Late teens end early 20s is where schizophrenia shows up in young adults who are prone to it.

I like what France does: one is only allowed to own firearms after being mentally evaluated and agreeing to an annual reevaluation after that.
