as I recall the issue was not whether SS was a government program but whether SS funding was separate from the general budget..........I suggest you go back and re-read that thread.....when you're ready to say "Oh, I fucked up on that one!" come back and see us.......

No, dumbass, I remember everything. You said payroll taxes did not pay for government services that SS was not a government service.

I have a big problem with his words on a personal level, it reminds me of the ancient belief that virgins were more pleasing to the gods.

I have a single daughter, she may never get married, she may never have children, Heck has basically told her she will never be fulfilled as a person, because she is not a wife and mother. I think that is wrong on many levels.

I also perceive child rearing to be the duty of both parents and not just the wife's, as Heck's statement about his own wife seem to indicate.

There are any other points I could make, but these two I felt needed to be stated.

Top you have to realize that this sort of traditonal edict for women to stay home and have babies and cater to their husbands needs, is very attractive to men who can't compete in the sexual free market. The reason is, under the old system, women felt very pressured to marry early. Remember they don't want to be left on the shelf! If only we could go back to the days when a woman felt passed over and was damaged goods if she hadn't married by 25! Just think of it! Women become so desperate not to be judged as not up to par by society, that they will marry inferior men. What does that lead to?

It leads directly to inferior men getting some! Our traditional system took men who were too ugly, too socially stunted, or just all around losers and couldn't get laid, and assigned a woman to fuck them! That's her job!

Of course that system is going to remain highly attractive to men who simply cannot compete on the sexual free market. They yearn for the good old days. They call it nostalgia. All nostalgia really means is; man I wish society still had the power to assign a woman whose job it is to fuck me.

those statements are both correct....that doesn't mean it isn't a government program....who did you think was operating it, Ford Motor Company?......apparently I was right about the way your mind is functioning....
