"Solutions"

my hunch - at one point this software must of allowed a thread posed as question - in which case the Op can choose who solved their question

What is that thing called "solutions" when you look at the "Members" tab? I see that I have one but no idea how or what it is. I haven't even solved what's for supper tonight. lol

@Damocles?
Choose "question" at the top of the new thread...

When your question is answered you can choose the "solution"... You'll see arrows to the bottom right of each post (somewhere on the right) and folks can vote the post up or down, if you choose a solution I believe it puts it right below the original question so folks do not have to search for it... :dunno:

I haven't really tested this out, I just post discussions or polls...

Thanks. I must have gone clickity-click on something by accident. Hopefully no one's gotten the impression that I have solutions to anything. :rofl2:

I made a thread with a "question" then clicked on you as the solution when you replied.

This came up a couple of months ago when I noticed Lesion AKA Diogenes had 3 solutions which piqued my interest since there's no instructions about it on the forum or online that I could find. How did Lesion know?

grok.

I enjoy using it to fact check stuff and ask other questions... It does a decent job at it.

Though if you want an AI to write something for you, ChatGPT does a good job at that. Grok is pretty good at it, but ChatGPT seems to do just a smidgeon better.
I haven't tried ChatGPT for writing but will give it a try.
