Somebody lied, Congress needs to call up Muller for his "UNDER OATH" testimony.

If anybody watched the Senate Judiciary committee’s hearing of William Barr awhile ago you would be remembering today that in Barr’s opening statement to that committee Barr testified under oath that Robert Mueller had told him that the reason he, Mueller didn’t submit any determination about any obstruction of justice by Donald Trump was not based in any way on the Justice Department’s traditional principled position that a sitting President couldn’t be indicted for a crime. Yesterday, Robert Muller made that exact same argument and used that JD position as his excuse for not including any decision on a Trump obstruction of justice.

Somebody lied! As a valid oversight body it is the duty of both houses of the Congress to call Robert Muller before the Judiciary for his “UNDER OATH” testimony regarding his position in the obstruction decision related to the President. William Barr’s testimony is already part of the Senate committee’s record.

It's obviously Barr who lied, Mueller's1 testimony is exactly what he said in his report, which Barr is supposed to have read. Weren't you one of those who insisted that the report didn't matter, that Mueller's testimony would vindicate Barr. Now we see that Barr is a liar, as expected of Trump's lapdog.

Barr lied under oath. Mueller’s report and his presentation the other day said the opposite.

Mueller did not offer an "excuse'. He gave a simple and valid explanation of what he did and why. The Justice Dept,. where Mueller has been a long time star respected prosecutor and investigator, works under that rule that a sitting president cannot be indicted. It is just that simple.
However his report said Trump had many incidents that the House could treat as criminal because they do not have the same restraints that he labored under.Then he pointed them out . The report named many, such as suborning perjury, witness intimidation and fabricating evidence among many others.

I heard yesterday that the DOJ put out a "Mueller recant" of his claim that he didn't indict Trump was because he couldn't indict a sitting President. Seems Barr & others present at the Barr/Mueller meeting before Barr released the Mueller Report reminded the doddering old crooked Mueller that he told Barr 3 times he wasn't ignoring an indictment of the President because of the long time DOJ principle on Presidents being immune to indictment. Now we all know Mueller LIED!!!!!!!!
 
Robo cannot understand the report or has not read it. It points out many occasions of Trump obstruction that Congress can treat as criminal, and he could not. He made it clear that he was restrained by the sitting president rule. That is evidence in black and white. You are pushing a verbal claim from the most dishonest administration in history. Do you ever tire of carrying all that right-wing propaganda to the masses?

Mueller does not have to testify under oath no matter what. The Repugs have shown you can ignore a subpoena. Does that mean that anyone in the country can?

I don't believe from their exchanges that any of the Trumpkins you see on this forum ever read any of the Mueller Report, nor any of the actual FISA applications for that matter, for the most part, they just keep regurgitating what some demogogue said or website promoted

Barr gives a different present presentation of Right Wing, Trumpian insanity. The difference is he calmly says it without the histrionics of Trump and the rest of the vulpine rightys. He is just as wrong about the facts as Trump. He calmly repeats the crazy Trumpian claim of spying. The intelligence agencies were well aware of Russian interference in our elections and they were doing their jobs. The reason they were watching so many of Trump's people is because they were involved. Everywhere they checked Russian hacking they found Russians working to make Trump president. They found Popadopolous,Manafort,Flynn and many others doing the same ,working with them.
