Frankly, I suspect these groups attract a hodgepodge of loons.
Have you noticed that anyone who complains about government abuse of power tends to get called Right Wing, and from there assumed to be white supremist?
The whole thing is the Lefts attempt to vilify and criminalize the Right, with the actual desire to be outlawing the Right.

I think the idea is anybody that's white that does something illegal and not part of a left wing authoritarian group is doing it out of white supremacy.
I think it's funny that people talk about white supremacy meanwhile there's a bunch of white kids that feel they need to insist black lives matter as if they didn't think they did and they run around doing really messed up things in the name of black people.

But that goes to my point about fringe groups: get far out enough on the fringe and the ideological lines get blurred. Makes it difficult to put a group in a tidy little box called ‘right wing’ when they share many of the same traits as left wing extremists.
The Michigan group shares some of the same objectives as Antifa, for example. And it’s certainly a stretch to call them white supremacists.

There are still remnants of KKK, skinheads, local militias and a variety of fringe groups that communicate online & elsewhere. Why is it important AT ALL that you get all of the names of them? Why are you making excuses for them, and yes, the FACT that they are the biggest domestic threat?
