Ah, that canard. Let's take a hypothetical though experiment here based on recent events.

You have thousands, tens of thousands, of radical Leftists violently protesting in the streets for months. They do billions in damage to property and by looting businesses. They injure hundreds, sometimes very seriously requiring hospitalization and resulting in injuries and scaring that will last for years or a lifetime. Violent crimes like rapes have also occurred. Billions more are lost through lost wages, lose of business revenue, etc. But they don't kill anyone, just do billions in damage and injury, possibly tens of billions. Businesses are shut down for months. People are in fear to leave their homes (some of which were attacked and damaged). Tens of thousands of lives, possibly hundreds of thousands, are upended and even ruined. All this goes on day after day for months.

You have a radical Rightist who takes a firearm and goes in shoots say, four people in a single incident that lasts less than fifteen minutes. Let's say this person wounds 4 more people. Direct witnesses to the attack are say 20 other persons.

Which is a greater threat to society?
