I recall similar talk that Obama ‘didn’t really share in the black experience’ because his ancestors weren’t slaves; born in HI; largely raised abroad etc.

I get why black people might say that.

That would mean those kind of men are acceptable to some Proud Boys members.

The Proud Boys group as a whole might not be a white supremacist group, but some of it's members certainly are white supremacists.

The yard stick for who's worse, the radical Left or radical Right, right now is body count. That's a horridly inaccurate measure of things. Yes the radical Right is far better at killing people. They do it in individual acts by lone persons almost entirely. The radical Left is the polar opposite. They show up in the hundreds or thousands and destroy entire downtowns of cities. They perpetrate numerous cases of low grade violence and violent felonies short of murder. They disrupt society on a wide scale often for protracted periods. The resulting costs of one of their riots runs into the millions, tens of millions, even billions.

All of that is ignored in favor of just the body count. That's idiotic. The Left is the greater danger to society as a whole. Society won't fall apart because of a lone wolf attack by some Rightist radical. But society can fall apart--as we've seen more than once lately--when the Left riots for days, weeks, and even months.

That makes the radical Left a far greater danger to society than the radical Right.

That's flimsy. Society doesn't "fall apart." There is a sense of chaos for a bit, but it passes and things go back to normal.

And 93% of the protests are peaceful (based on actual study). The "riots" are generally actors who have completely other agendas and want to create havoc. It's a stretch to call them "the left."

The actors are ANTIFA and BLM.. I have a FB friend in Portland. He makes no bones about being ANTIFA.
among other things they do is doxx people who have like a MAGA display on their car.

These are modern Brownshirts/ whatever the protests were in the beginning they are organized criminal behavior now
