8pm will be "TACO Tuesday". He'll claim Iranians are "negotiating" (a lie of course) and everything will go on as it has been the past month.
That would be the best outcome. Maybe he'll just declare victory, claim the Iranians are surrendering and walk away.

Trump backed himself into a corner. So much bellicose, tough talk can not be swept away. He has to get something from Iran. Trump does not care about killing people. He does not lose sleep over deaths. Iran knows that too. Trump has threatened every single man, woman, child, every cat and dog, too. Destroying a civilization is a big deal to most people, but not daffy. He is quite sick.
He won't get anything from the Iranians since they are diehards who will go ballistic if in danger of collapsing. Trump could nuke all of their cities and they'd simply blow up all the major oil infrastructure on the Arab side of the Persian Gulf from their mountain hideaways.
There's a reason why Presidents from Reagan to Biden never attacked Iran and we're seeing the reasons in play now.

Trump has split us from our allies . We are alone. Netanyahoo is already providing distance from what Trump wants to do, Putin thinks Trump is nuts. Trump needs mental help, and nobody in his admin stands up to him at all.
