So let's see...This incident happened in August of 2011, and we heard nothing about it, yet a year later, in August of 2012 it's all the buzz....Hmmm, wonder what could be going on that all of the sudden it's just got to come out?....Hmmm...Can't figure why such an embarrassing incident would be held til now.....:rolleyes:

Seriously, I don't get that. It's a public beach .. and who would expect drunk US Congressman to get naked on a public beach in a foreign country?

That makes no sense to me.
 
It would not be a big deal if the guy were not representing America in a forign country.

I'm not suggesting it's the end of the world .. but as a US Congressperson, you represent America .. and drunk naked congresspeople in a foreign country is not a pretty picture .. speaking of which, what if someone had taken a picture of Yoder in the nude with children in the background?

That's why the FBI got involved.

Maybe the GOP hush hush'd the incident since it proved, once and for all, that Republicans do not, in fact, walk on water?

Again, it's not the end of the world, but none of them would go swimming naked on a public beach in the US .. and I ask again, what if someone had taken a picture of a US Congressman naked and drunk with children in the background.

It would be a monumental embarrassment for the US .. and most here .. including many who find this no big deal .. would be asking how that happened.

If somebody had taken a photo then there would have been the usual media feeding frenzy and witchhunt followed by the usual sanctimonious claptrap.
