Someone should update Ann Romney...

LOL

Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said Monday that she doubted she and her husband would vacation overseas as frequently as the Obamas if her husband were elected.

Romney was responding to a question from WJR Detroit's Frank Beckmann, who asked Romney if her family would be vacationing abroad as frequently as the Obamas.

"I doubt that," Romney replied. "Our vacations and our happiness come from being with our children and our grandchildren."

Obama has been on a vacation ever since he got in office.

You missed all the quote:

Ann Romney didn't rule out vacationing at all, noting the Romney family has their "own places for that."

That would be...

A home in La Jolla, Calif., an affluent ocean front neighborhood adjoining San Diego, Calif. This property, bought by the couple in 2008 for $12 million and assessed at $8.7 million in 2010, has been the subject of news reports that the Romneys plan to tear down the existing house and undertake a significant expansion.

A condominium in Ann Romney’s name in Belmont, Mass., assessed at $773,000.

A home in Wolfeboro, N.H., on Lake Winnipesaukee, assessed at $4.3 million

A second, 6.3-acre property nearby worth 2.5 million, a combination boathouse and stable with living quarters, and tennis courts.

A white-sided cottage on a sandy ridge overlooking Lake Huron in Grand Bend, Ontario

Hello, out of touch?

Where were you libtards when all of these democrats were running for President? Sen. John Kerry (Net Worth $240 million). Sen. John Edwards (Net Worth $45 million). Bill & Hillary Clinton (Net Worth $85 million)? Al Gore (Net Worth $100 million)? So you were able to relate to all these previous rich presidential candidates?

Bill and Hillary were not rich when they ran for president. One can be rich and not out of touch, or poor and out of touch... however the Romneys keep making comments that make them seem out of touch. Where are all the Republicans who were attacking the Democrats for being rich when Kerry or Gore were running for President?

Kerry's wealth was a big topic of that campaign, as was that of John Edwards. The Clintons weren't rich.

Wanna try again?

You must be sexist... you presume he meant when Bill ran for President... rather than Hillary. They were rich when she ran.

I get it. You're all for the rich Republicans making money but not rich Democrats? First off...it wasn't Kerry's money, it was his wife's. Secondly, Edwards was born poor and earned his money, unlike Mittens. Thirdly, and as pointed out, Bill wasn't rich, Hillary got rich by being smart.

The difference between all of them and Mittens is obvious: None of them make off-hand and out-of-touch remarks bragging about their wealth.

The point is that they did not come from wealth. Her family had more than his, but they were not what I would call wealthy like the Romneys, Bushes, Kerrys ect.

The last two Democrats made it themselves without family money, the last few Republican presidents came from wealthy families.

Wrong. George Romney was not wealthy when Mitt was born. While he did go on to become successful, the bulk of what Mitt has today was what he earned. Yes, he had his education paid for and did not struggle financially during school, but to pretend he didn't earn it is 100% false.

Do you have a cite for that?

Hillary's father was a very successful business man, just like George Romney. She grew up in Park Ridge Illinois Jarod... which if you are not aware was a very affluent area near Chicago. Like Mitt, Hillary did not struggle, had her fathers backing during school, then went on to have a very successful career on her own merits.

See the above with regards to Hillary. The last two... not few... Reps (both Bushs) came from money. Reagan did not.

When Hillary and Bill were first married they lived in a 980 square foot house.

Hillary went to public school, Romney went to expensive elite prep schools.

LMAO... that does not change the fact that her father was wealthy. It does not change the fact that she grew up in an affluent neighborhood. She also attended Wellesley and Yale.
