They will support a forign war that has no valid reason, they will support a forign war that will kill hundreds of thousands and nation building half a world away...

Yet...

When we want to reorgainze our health care system in a way that may not cost any extra money, but will expand coverage to millions.. they go out and protest...

Yes Jarod it won't cost any extra money to extend coverage to millions. And those money trees my parents told me about when I was a kid really do exist.

Okay, but pretending Health care will cost HUGE amounts of money...thats wrong...

Cost of Iraq war per year: $87.6 billion in 2009 and lowering constantly wherein like all wars it will end up at zero per year

Cost of Medicare per year: $452 billion in 2010
Cost of Medicaid per year: $350 billion in 2010

Combined the 2 big programs cost over $800 billion per year

Those do NOT include OTHER government health programs plus they (unlike wars that end) are also rising all the time with no end ever.

And most important combined they only cover approx 100 million Americans. $800 billion per year to have government healthcare for 1/3 of the population, roughly 10 times the cost of the Iraq war per year.
And you want to EXPAND that (while calling it "reform")?!?

NOW you understand why Conservatives (and independents and many others) worry, I would hope...

Total War Funding since 2001
To date, $1.05 trillion dollars have been allocated to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Cost of War in Iraq since 2003
To date, $747.3 billion dollars have been allocated to the war in Iraq since 2003.

Hmmmm.... maybe we could have had a good start to a better/healthier country without your oil wars. Spilt milk at this point but for some no lessons learned.
