Sorry TOP but...

We sure did. Micah IS a really good player, no doubt. I'm just concerned that us Cheeseheads are "selling our souls" (to two players) for short-term gain (which might not even happen) in exchange for long-term damage. While Micah IS a proven really good player, Jordan Love is NOT... IMO, he's passable at best (he's nothing "great"... he's no Favre... he's no Rodgers in his prime).

I personally think that your Cowboys are getting the better end of the deal in the long-term. You're getting a good DT from us in exchange for your elite edge rusher, two first round draft picks (which may be in the 20s if we do good, or in the singles or lower-double-digits if we have a couple of bad years), and a good chunk of freed-up cap space. If we tank, then those draft picks of yours gain worth. If we don't tank, then you still got two first round draft picks (even if they are towards the later part of the round).

Personally, (even being a cheesehead), I've sort of rooted against the Packers ever since Favre was pushed out of the organization. I never really liked much about Rodgers (although he proved me wrong and became a really good QB), and I don't like Jordan Love at all.
The Packers are my second favorite team behind the Cowboys so Micah going to the Packers didn't hurt as much as trading to a NFC East team would have hurt.

Lots of women's volleyball on yesterday...
Great match between Nebraska and Kentucky!
That was a great match. I was watching it and hoping that Kentucky could pull off the upset, but Nebraska is just a powerhouse, even when they're down a set or two.
My young Badgers team couldn't handle Texas (lost 3-0). It's very early yet. I still think that the Badgers will have a good team and finish towards the top of the Big 10 (behind at least Nebraska). They're a young team, so they need a while to get their cylinders turning.

Makes sense. The Packers are sort of "America's Team" in a way (besides the Cowboys). Some of the winter games at Lambeau Field have been quite interesting to watch. Favre is probably my favorite QB of all time (and not just because I live in WI but because he was such a fun player to watch). I was even a Vikings fan for a couple years when Favre was traded there... Watching an old man throw a pass and then sprint up the field to throw a block on a 300lb lineman was entertaining TV. He had a love for the game that very few people (if anyone) could match.

Whether Favre was needling a rocket of a TD pass between three DBs or whether he was throwing a stupid INT at a pivotal moment in the game while trying to work some magic, football fans were always entertained and on the edge of their seat while watching him play.

Pitt looked pretty impressive against Arizona (3-0), and Arizona beat (#1) Penn State yesterday (3-2).

Pitt is really good as well... women's volleyball definitely has a lot more parity than women's hockey and women's basketball.
Penn State won the championship last year by beating Nebraska (whom I dislike, anyway)
I like watching the girls college volleyball, the GF is really into it. She will watch any game
that's on. Not into college hockey that much, but am a die hard Penguins fan. I have been
since I was a kid. The GF likes pro hockey too, but she's a Flyers fan. Don't like basketball, at all.

Oh yeah, there's such a thing. :)
However, it's not that exciting for spectators because Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Minnesota are leaps and bounds better than everyone else.
Thankfully, it's not as bad as it used to be. Wisconsin now only wins most of their games by, say, 5 goals instead of 10. We basically don't have any competition other than Ohio State and Minnesota.

No Canuckistani teams?

Texas and Arch Manning's offense didn't play well!
But OSU only scored 14 points. That's a little concerning
,they should have had twice that!

At least they scored 14 points against a team as good as Texas. Meanwhile, my Badgers could only muster up 17 points against MIAMI OHIO... and 7 of those points were a complete gift handed to them on a silver platter.

I think that Ohio State will be just fine. They, as one of the best, just beat one of the best. It drives me nuts because I can't stand Ohio State, but it's the truth regardless of how I happen to feel about it.

Don't be too hard on your Badgers...
Miami is a very decent team...just in a smaller conference...
(No one likes us.... and we're OK with that...it's always been that way....I think it's the "THE"...lol... ;)

Maybe I'll be a bit less hard on them if they can blow Middle Tennessee out of the water... ;)

A win is a win..I am confused about some of the scheduling, I will admit...;)
But then the BIG 10 is now the Big 23 and counting, so....
I have the THE as quite the permanent part of my life, so there's that...lol...;)
