Sorry TOP but...

Another story for every occasion, imdeed!!

Now, now. I'm sure those were exciting nights for a homely, gawky, not-too-bright girl from far-away Cleveland. Being passed around the back of the OSU football team bus like a collection plate was the highlight of her "college career." :rofl2: :ROFLMAO:

And another "tribute thread" is ours. We are so in charge!

One of the things about having an education is stupid people calling you stupid has no meaning.

So tell us what is it about cannibalism that you find so sexually exciting?

Poor WAlt, reduced to the same infantile stalking Douche and the flight attendant indulge in.

Any thoughts about Micah Going the Packers?
That was definitely an "out of left field" move... I didn't expect that one. Us Cheeseheads historically haven't taken a "give two players a huge-ass payday" approach, but we'll see how it works out (or doesn't). Historically, GB has instead favored accumulating plenty of draft picks, and developing that young talent, over giving a few select players mega paydays.

Personally, I think that the Cowboys are the ones who are making out good on this deal (at least in the long term). I really don't think that Jordan Love is all that good. Yes, he's decent... he's passable... he's even better than plenty of other QBs on plenty of other teams (Browns, anyone?)... but he's not "great" like Favre was (or even Rodgers in his prime); he's not worth the big money that he's getting paid.

Even if the Packers do really good this year and next year, the Cowboys are still getting two first round draft picks (albeit probably in the 20s instead of the singles or early double digits), a good DT, and A LOT more cap space to work with. Meanwhile, the Packers are giving up a good DT, two first round draft picks, and basically all of the rest of their cap space (all for one player who seems to value having a really big contract over anything else). If the Packers end up bombing, then the Cowboys end up with even more value out of those draft picks (let alone the value of freed-up cap space).

TLDR: I see it as a good long-term move by the Cowboys and a potentially damaging move by the Packers.

The Packer got a hell of a player. After Dak's contract we could not afford Micah. I hope the Packers have a bad year so our draft pick will be worth more.

:sadbaby:
We sure did. Micah IS a really good player, no doubt. I'm just concerned that us Cheeseheads are "selling our souls" (to two players) for short-term gain (which might not even happen) in exchange for long-term damage. While Micah IS a proven really good player, Jordan Love is NOT... IMO, he's passable at best (he's nothing "great"... he's no Favre... he's no Rodgers in his prime).

I personally think that your Cowboys are getting the better end of the deal in the long-term. You're getting a good DT from us in exchange for your elite edge rusher, two first round draft picks (which may be in the 20s if we do good, or in the singles or lower-double-digits if we have a couple of bad years), and a good chunk of freed-up cap space. If we tank, then those draft picks of yours gain worth. If we don't tank, then you still got two first round draft picks (even if they are towards the later part of the round).

Personally, (even being a cheesehead), I've sort of rooted against the Packers ever since Favre was pushed out of the organization. I never really liked much about Rodgers (although he proved me wrong and became a really good QB), and I don't like Jordan Love at all.

Wow. I didn't know there was such a thing. Never saw a game on TV or heard of it until now.
Oh yeah, there's such a thing. :)
However, it's not that exciting for spectators because Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Minnesota are leaps and bounds better than everyone else.
Thankfully, it's not as bad as it used to be. Wisconsin now only wins most of their games by, say, 5 goals instead of 10. We basically don't have any competition other than Ohio State and Minnesota.
