To be honest.............

Over the last weekI have done extensive research on RP...I am in agreement on alot of his issues...pro-life,economy,Monetary Standard,nationalism, low taxes,against Nafta shafta et al...however I find him to be way to weak on National Defense,Iran and terrorism in general...he is limp wristed and I would have concerns if our country were to be on the receiving end of another or worse homeland attack...How would he respond...with meetings and counseling...or hit em' hard where it hurts...not just in their finances but physically as well...


I'm sorry but the President is the 'Commander in Chief' of our military...and I feel that RP would be another Jimmy Carter with a weak response that only embolden the enemy...He should run for Governor of Texas....not President of the United States...just my opinion!:)

I am not for occupation of Iran...I am for putting a end to their nuclear programs...I know you will now argue the RP and 'Dennis the Mennace' Kuchi boy issue they continually put forth in congress NIE et al...RP has been saying this so much in congress that he became a one issue member (some 8 times) I believe...and 'Dennis the Mennace' chimed right in with the same rhetoric...


Regardless of what you Peace Doves think...Iran has a very radical theocracy for a government...and would not hesitate to use nucs if they had them ready!
Do you really believe that they gave up this pursuit...and the intelligence proves this...gimmee a break the US kept the Nuke program extremely well hidden from US citizens as well as the world...'The Manhattan Project'...until the bomb was dropped over two Japanese cities! Just food for thought for all of you Can't we all get along...kumbia singers...!

The intelligence has proven that Iran does not have a nuclear program. Just because two nations are unfriendly does not mean that they send nukes over to each other. The USSR at its height was always much more anti-US and had many more nuclear bombs. You're acting like a baby - you just don't have any common sense.

common sense is a oxymoron...you have that I just have sense...the USSR and US during the cold war...were just posturing they knew it would bring on Armageddon...Iran and the rest of the radicals want to bring on 'end times'...get a clue waterbaby! And was it not y'all liberals who were always saying intelligence on the WMD were false...now when it suits you...it is so accurate...go figure!

I like how you just completely labeled an entire nation (Iran) as having a singular opinion. It's that type of atavistic mentality that could bring about nuclear armageddon. There are millions of young people in Iran who do not disdain the West as the Imams do. However, we can possibly even alienate them and make them think like their fundamentalist oppressors if we continue our reckless foreign policy of world cop adventurism. If we start behaving like a republic instead of an empire, the young people of Iran and the rest of the muslim world will not hate us as they do now.

I condemned the Radical Islam leaders...most of the general population of Iran are really nice people...I have met quite a few and shared a beer or two!
and for the most part they also share our interest in setting them free from oppression...anymore off the cuff comments?

Yes, they do share that "interest in setting them free from oppression". However, the means which the present incumbent of the Whitehouse has in mind may just differ somewhat from the thoughts of the oppressed masses of Iran.

At one time the 'Communists' wanted nuclear weapons in order to destroy the US.

In Communist Ruskie-land the US wanted to enfeeble the USSR, as much as possible, in order to invade and eat it's children.

You're both run by fundamentalist individuals of very little intelligence, who would rather play the religious joker, rather than the Ace of national interest. You both have a natural distaste of anything to do with homosexuals. You are both reviled and ridiculed amongst your peers, on the world stage and in the international press, and you both have a soft spot for a terrorist group with big puppy-dog eyes who just want a little funding to blow some people up a little bit and that.

It's amazing that you're not the best of friends.

So did we hit the people who planned and financed the WTC attack? Did we get Osama, did we hit Al Qaeda hard where they lived in the caves of Afghanistan and Pakistan? Don't bother to wiki it, we didn't. Instead we attacked Saddam Husain and Iraq. Boy that was hitting them hard were it hurt.

and are you suggesting that we should have attacked Saudi Arabia?...If so I agree...and yes we hit them hard in Afghanistan...and most of Usama's Lt's are history...is the mission complete...No!...But we are working on it!
As for Iraq...it is part of the big picture...you need a base of operations in a tactical area in order to secure a area...Iraq is a great tactical position...pretty centrally located! Are you sure you were a Sgt.in the Army?
