South Caucasian Knot or the Third World War

Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan and the seizure of 20% of Azerbaijani territory, including Karabakh, with the support of Moscow, plunged the South Caucasus into a 30-year war that ended with Armenia's defeat. However, since then, the tension in the region as a whole has become a compressed spring, ready at any moment to escalate into a war of a much larger scale. The fact is that this time there is a clash of strategic and economic interests of countries influencing the international political climate. Since ancient times, production and trade have been indispensable attributes of human civilization, for the functioning of which routes are of great importance. For many centuries, one of these routes was the Great Silk Road, connecting China with the Middle East and Europe. With the decline of China, the Great Silk Road lost its former significance. However, today, when China has become the leader of world production, the Great Silk Road has been remembered as the shortest of all possible. In addition, the delivery time of goods by land using the railway is much less than by sea. China has proclaimed the slogan "one zone - one road".

China's initiative to revive the Great Silk Road, which essentially embodies the slogan "one belt - one road", was not perceived unambiguously by all countries. If the EU, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Central Asian countries supported the Chinese initiative, then Russia, which considered itself a potential country for this project, found itself on the sidelines. Moscow lost the South Caucasus after the collapse of the USSR, and with it its influence on the political situation in this region. True, in 2008 an attempt was made to return Georgia to the bosom of the empire, but it did not work. Armenia and Iran were the most cautious about this project, and the reason for this is the inevitable change in the strategic situation. The fact is that this route should pass through the territory of Azerbaijan, Armenia through the Zangezur corridor and Turkey, in which case the Nakhchivan enclave of Azerbaijan, which has a common border with Turkey, will automatically be directly connected to Azerbaijan, that is, a continuous connection between Turkey and Azerbaijan will be restored, which, in Yerevan's opinion, threatens the security of Armenia. Here, the enmity between Armenians and Turks since the First World War, which the Armenians wrongly call genocide, undoubtedly played a role. But Armenia's even greater opposition to the revival of the Great Silk Road lies in the fact that through it and the Zangezur corridor, without which the implementation of the Chinese transport project is impossible, all Turkic countries will appear geographically as a single monolithic union. As a result, the idea of Pan-Turkism will be realized, similar to Pan-Germanism, thanks to which today a united Germany is the richest and most powerful country in Europe. For the same reason, Iran and Russia also do not want the Zangezur corridor to be transferred to the "one zone - one road" project. We have come to a very important accompanying circumstance, namely, the inevitable construction of oil and gas pipelines through the corridor parallel to the transport route. The EU is waiting for hydrocarbons from the Caspian Basin countries to reach the European consumer in sufficient quantities bypassing Russia, which naturally causes Moscow to panic and become angry at Azerbaijan as the main transport and energy hub. On the other hand, Moscow and Tehran must also take into account the fact that the North-South transport project, connecting Russia with the Indian Ocean countries, depends on Baku's consent.

I have an old article in which I foresaw the success and difficulties of Azerbaijan as a central transport and energy hub, which I will cite below, although 12 years later there have been changes, but in general, a political confrontation, which under certain circumstances can have very serious consequences.

Trans-Caspian gas pipeline or the Third World War

The idea of creating a Greater Germany led to the Second World War.

The idea of creating a "Great Armenia" ...

Baku and Baku oil were one of the main strategic directions of the Wehrmacht in World War II. In case of success, all military equipment of the Soviet Union would instantly turn into useless scrap iron, and Germany would receive a much-needed source of fuel. It so happened that after 60 years, a tight knot of geopolitical problems is gradually tightening around Baku, far beyond the regional ones, and could instantly develop into a large regional war, which has every chance of becoming World War III.

The basis of the emerging conflict is Moscow's old expansionist policy in the Caucasus, as well as easily predictable circumstances related to the inevitable economic difficulties awaiting Russia in the event that the Caspian states implement a project to extract and deliver hydrocarbons from the Caspian basin to Western Europe bypassing Russia. Naturally, Moscow will make every effort, including military ones, to maintain its monopoly in this vitally important economic sector. True, the first attempt in the 2008 war with Georgia did not achieve its goal. It was not possible to capture Georgia, although the tank column was already on the approaches to Tbilisi. The fact is that by taking control of Georgia, Moscow takes control of the existing Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline and excludes any possibility of hydrocarbon exports by the Caspian countries bypassing Russia. In addition, an important strategic gap will be eliminated - the continuity of the Moscow-Yerevan-Tehran axis. It is quite possible that Russia was prompted to carry out a military provocation in Georgia by a strong Armenian lobby, since Armenia's isolated position not only complicates military cooperation between the Axis powers, but also worsens Armenia's already tragic economic situation.

The last episode of the eternal confrontation between Russia and Turkey resulted in the creation of a buffer zone on the fixed border, namely on the territory of the Yerevan Khanate of Azerbaijan, at the end of the 19th century by squeezing out the local Turkic population and mass settlement of Armenians from Turkey and Iran.

The Karabakh Khanate was settled to a somewhat lesser extent by Armenians. It must be said that the Russians could have just as successfully settled this territory with Kurds, who, like the Armenians, lived in a vast area of the region, and here religious affiliation obviously played the main role. Russia saw a reliable colonization of the Caucasus, especially in light of the long-term war with Shamil, in settling this territory with Christians, which is how the Kuban and Terek Cossacks appeared in the North Caucasus and the Armenians in Azerbaijan.

The Armenians, being traders and artisans, lived very dispersedly in the territory of Turkey, Iran and the Caucasus, creating a compact focal population in large cities. So at the time of the conquest of Georgia, Armenians made up 60% of the population of Tbilisi. An interesting fact is that in Yerevan, the future capital of the artificially created Armenia, Armenians and Kurds each lived 5%. In fact, the Kurds have no less right to claim the same territory under "Great Kurdistan" than the Armenians have under "Great Armenia". This is probably why, when during the First World War the Armenians, with the support of the Russians, raised a bloody rebellion in Turkey, the Kurds were also subjected to destruction along with the Turks.

Continuation

The Armenians were not directly connected to the land and maybe this is due to the fact that this people did not have their own state before the Russians appeared. Perhaps I am mistaken, but I will still allow myself to express some thoughts regarding the relationship between the people, their mentality and the state. People are fed by the land on which they live, engaged in agriculture, but there are peoples, for example the gypsies, for whom the land as such does not represent any value, the gypsies have a different way of existence. Armenians are excellent artisans, traders, financiers, and, let's face it, the organizers of mafia structures are traditionally scattered throughout the cities and are not directly connected to the land for the most part. Proof of this is the catastrophic state of agriculture in Armenia, or rather its complete absence, and this despite the fact that as a result of the seizure of a significant Azerbaijani territory suitable for agriculture. Having freed themselves from colonial dependence, the peoples received free access to their land and the first thing that developed was agriculture, for example, Azerbaijan, neighboring Armenia, not only provides for itself, but also exports agricultural products to Russia, and only Armenia is an exception in this regard. After the ethnic cleansing, Armenia completely lost its Azerbaijani farmers and somehow makes ends meet thanks to the powerful Armenian diaspora. As a result, the Yerevan Khanate, once populated by Armenians in Russia, is emptying, the population is leaving the artificially created country for a prosperous life, spreading among other peoples in accordance with their mentality. Well, they are not going to make their own boots! In confirmation of this, a well-known fact is that all the Azerbaijani refugees from Armenia ended up in Azerbaijan, and all the Armenian refugees ended up anywhere up to California, but not in Armenia. This is, I repeat, in my opinion, the reason why the Armenian people did not have their own state. And if we hypothetically imagine that the Armenian Nazis manage to create a “Great Armenia from sea to sea,” then there will be no one to live in it.

The practice of taking away Azerbaijani lands for the artificially created Armenia continued under Soviet rule, for example, in 1920 Moscow transferred the Zangezur region of Azerbaijan to Armenia. Then Karabakh was given the status of an autonomous region with the renaming of the small village of Khankendi (translated as khan's village) in the vicinity of Shusha, the capital of the Karabakh Khanate, to Stepanakert in honor of Stepan Shaumyan, one of the 26 Baku commissars, a participant in the terrible massacre of 1918, committed by the Dashnaks in Baku, making it the capital of the autonomy. As a rule, the alienation of lands was accompanied by the eviction of the Turkic population with the subsequent destruction of architectural monuments, for example, in the center of Yerevan, not a trace remained of the fortress wall and the khan's palace with a mosque. If 90% of the population of the Yerevan Khanate was Azerbaijani Turks and 10% of the population was equally divided between Armenians and Kurds, then today Armenia is perhaps the most mono-ethnic state in the world. Well, and a very recent example of ethnic cleansing - the seizure of Azerbaijani territory in the Karabakh war was accompanied by the physical destruction of the local population. In the entire territory of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia, not a single Azerbaijani remained. Here it is necessary to note a very important fact, namely the active participation of military units of the Soviet Army on the side of Armenia (the 366th motorized rifle regiment in the attack on Khojaly), and this is in addition to the transfer of weapons to the Armenian militants, including heavy weapons - artillery, tanks and armored personnel carriers. The tragedy of Khojaly and Aghdam (a completely destroyed city) is the most real genocide, so to speak, the final chord of the enlightened 20th century - the bloodiest in the history of civilization. It has been 19 years since the ceasefire agreement was adopted, but a political solution to the Karabakh conflict has not been found, primarily due to the fault of Russia, which essentially supports Armenia's aggressive policy, thanks to which it has a military base there, thereby maintaining a military presence in the region. At any time necessary, in order to eliminate Azerbaijan as the main key competitor in the sale of hydrocarbon raw materials, the Kremlin can give the go-ahead to the Armenian Nazis, who are eager to continue seizing territories for "Greater Armenia".

Of the world rabble gathered around Putin's Russia, the Tehran obscurantists and Armenian Nazis occupy especially honorable places, being strategic allies. Modern Iran is perhaps the only full-fledged and self-sufficient ally of Russia today, unlike Armenia. Common political and economic tasks in the region bring Moscow and Tehran closer together, and their alliance is directed against the Turkic countries of the Caspian basin and, first of all, against Azerbaijan, as a key participant in all projects to transport hydrocarbon raw materials to the West. If Moscow sees Azerbaijan as a potentially dangerous competitor threatening to undermine Russia's monopoly on the hydrocarbon raw materials market, which could result in an economic catastrophe for it, then Iran has even more reasons to fear its northern neighbor.

Having gained independence, after almost 200 years of colonial existence as part of the Russian Empire, Northern Azerbaijan received the opportunity to independently manage its wealth. Having chosen the democratic path and rejected Iran's attempts to introduce its northern neighbor to the bosom of religion, through the organization of religious schools in Baku and invitations to young people to free education in Iranian madrassas (it must be said that this initiative did not cause much enthusiasm either among the Azerbaijani people or the authorities), Azerbaijan today demonstrates a high rate of development, and not only economically. Positive changes affected literally all areas, including all kinds of international events. Could Azerbaijan, being part of the USSR, participate in the Eurovision contest and win prizes? Freedom made it possible to open Azerbaijan to the World. Modern Baku is a shining pearl on the Caspian coast, a megalopolis whose appearance is literally permeated with the spirit of the East and the West, a wonderful example of multiculture, in which the interested parties from Tel Aviv deliberately see danger. Baku is a city in which there is not a hint of the antagonism of civilizations, so carefully cultivated by the ayatollahs from Tehran. By the way, since we are talking about Israel and Iran, Azerbaijan may turn out to be the country through which Israel and Iran will sort out their relations.

Independent and successful secular Northern Azerbaijan with a population of 9 million is like a bone in the throat of the Tehran obscurantists, because it is a good example of what independence and democracy can give to the people. This circumstance is especially disturbing for Iran with its 35 million Turks of Southern Azerbaijan and their natural desire to unite into one state. If we add to this Iran's claims to the oil and gas wealth of the Caspian, then the emergence of the Moscow-Yerevan-Tehran strategic axis is understandable. The Evil Empire, having lost all its allies, or rather vassals, found nothing better than to feed a monster similar to itself, which is about to start waving an atomic club raised over the world like the Soviet Union. But first of all, Iran poses a threat to neighboring Muslim countries, and all this rhetoric of Tehran about the unfortunate Palestinians is only skillfully used propaganda to gain authority in the world of Islam in the hope that other Muslim countries will follow Iran's Islamic revolution.

Here it is necessary to point out the circumstance that exposes Islamic clerics in ideological hypocrisy, namely, that, pursuing political goals, they, together with Christian Russia and Armenia, are essentially opponents of their fellow believers, the Shiites from Azerbaijan. Such an openly hostile attitude of the religious regime towards the people with whom Iran has been historically connected for centuries illustrates the mendacity of the sanctimonious people from Tehran. Hiding behind the Koran to stupefy, first of all, the pious Iranian people, they are in fact guided by purely practical benefits, pushing the main thing - Islam, into the background.

In the Moscow-Yerevan-Tehran strategic axis, Armenia plays an active role. It is advantageous for Moscow to support the smoldering Karabakh conflict in order to give the go-ahead at any moment to the Armenian Dashnaks, who have tasted the smell of blood and are eager to continue their aggression against the people of Azerbaijan. The main goal of the Armenian Nazis is to wipe Northern Azerbaijan off the face of the earth by exterminating the Azerbaijani people. It is precisely by physically eliminating the Azerbaijanis and in no other way, as has already been done in the Azerbaijani territory occupied by them as a result of the Karabakh war, that a “Greater Armenia” can be created. Like a mad dog unleashed, Armenian militants will rush to the flat part of Azerbaijan to reduce Baku and Ganja to ruins and present the World with a fait accompli.

However, Turkey, which has already prevented the Dashnaks once, is an opponent of the implementation of these plans, having sent an army in 1918 to save the Azerbaijani people from complete extermination in an unprecedented massacre undertaken by the Dashnaks. In the Karabakh war, Turkey could not help Azerbaijan because the war was fought inside the Soviet Union, and any action by Turkey would be regarded as external interference. This time, in the event of an attack by Armenia on Azerbaijan, the situation is fundamentally different. Understanding that Turkey will not stand aside, Armenian propaganda has recently once again begun to actively exploit the Lie about the genocide in the hope of deceiving the public, presenting Turkey as an outcast of the world community and organizing various kinds of international sanctions, including military ones, if Turkey helps Azerbaijan in the event of a resumption of the Karabakh conflict.

Here we come to the answer to the question of why Armenia needs Turkey to recognize the Armenian genocide, especially 100 years later, and what is hidden behind the persistence with which Armenian propaganda spreads the Lie about the genocide. Everything becomes clear if we recall the goal of the Armenian Nazis - "Greater Armenia" from sea to sea, which involves the capture of Northern Azerbaijan. Judging by the undisguised plans of the Armenian Nazis to wipe the state of Azerbaijan off the political map, they want to neutralize Turkey by tying its hands by recognizing the genocide, and deal with Azerbaijan without Turkey's intervention. And then, having gained access to the riches of the Caspian, Armenia, with the support of the all-powerful Armenian lobby, will make claims against Turkey itself.

Continuation:

The only thing that the Ottoman Empire can be accused of, with a great deal of stretching it, is the disarmament and deportation of Armenians from the frontline zone, where the Armenians committed a treacherous massacre of the unarmed population, treacherous, because the Armenians did not rebel against the regular army, but suddenly began to mercilessly slaughter the civilian population. On the other hand, what else could the authorities have done to secure the rear in anticipation of the advancing Russian army? To the credit of the Turkish leadership, the army did not take any repressive actions during the deportation. One cannot help but recall the deportation of the Japanese from San Francisco and their isolation on the island after Japan's sudden attack on Pearl Harbor. By the way, unlike the Armenians in Turkey, the deported American Japanese did not even give any reason to make any statements in support of Japan. The Turkish authorities did not have an island at hand to deport the hostile Armenians there. The tragedy occurred because the deported Armenians found themselves among the Turks and Kurds who had previously fled from the Armenian pogroms. The spontaneous reprisals of the common people against the Armenian rebels, who filled wells in villages with the corpses of tortured Muslims so that those who survived would not even think about returning, can hardly be considered genocide, as the Armenian Nazis from the Dashnaktsutyun would like. The real culprits of the tragedy of the Turkish Armenians are the Dashnaks with their chimerical idea of a "Greater Armenia", by analogy with the German Nazis, dreaming of a "Greater Germany" - the main culprits of the catastrophe, primarily of the German people, and the organizers of the genocide of Jews and Gypsies. In order to divert blame from themselves, the Dashnaks, taking advantage of the confusion during the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the subsequent war for the Turkish people's existence, which was decisive for their existence, began to produce false documents in order to accuse the authorities of organizing the extermination of Armenians. In fact, despite all the chaos that accompanied the collapse of the empire, not a single government circular, order, or small note was found to initiate legal proceedings against those convicted of planning genocide. Quite indicative is the case of the 144 main perpetrators of the genocide, arrested by the British on an Armenian tip-off in 1919 and held in prison in Malta. The trial, which began in 1920, was forced to drop all charges due to the lack of a single document proving their guilt, and this was when the entire imperial archive was in the hands of the British and all the defendants were alive, by the way, the main incriminating document, Andonian's book "Telegrams of Talaat Pasha" was recognized as a gross forgery.

If we return to a similar question about the genocide of the Jews, then, as is known, the Nuremberg Trials recognized the Nazi Party and the SS as criminal organizations, all the perpetrators were sentenced to death. At this point, the case was closed, no one was going to judge the entire German people, unlike the Armenians, who are trying to get the Turkish people to condemn themselves for the Armenian genocide, despite the Maltese court that held on this case.

Having failed completely to legally accuse Turkey of genocide, the Armenians not only did not stop making fakes, but also launched global propaganda in the hope of deceiving the public and putting not just individuals but the entire Turkish nation up against the wall. It should be noted that the propaganda was accompanied by global terror against the citizens of modern Turkey, without any connection to genocide. The question arises, why shouldn't Armenia file a complaint with the Hague Tribunal or the International Court of Justice? The answer is simple. The whole point is that during the trial, the Armenians can easily turn from accusers into defendants. By the way, if we forget for a minute who started the war in the Pacific, then America can also be convicted of genocide against the Japanese, because American atomic bombs were dropped not on purely military targets, but on the densely populated cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as a result of which about five hundred thousand Japanese died. The number of Armenians killed in Turkey is approximately three hundred thousand (a figure that has grown to one and a half million over time, clearly exaggerated by the Armenians). But the Japanese, unlike the Armenians, have enough sense not to start the topic of genocide. There are enough documents, including the charter of the Dashnaktsutyun party, to accuse the Dashnaks of ethnic cleansing in Turkey in 1915 and Azerbaijan in 1918. Isn't it genocide when in 1918, in Kokand (Turkestan), a city far from "Great Armenia", the Armenian diaspora, led by the Dashnaks, completely slaughtered the local population in a bloody rebellion of three days, making no exceptions for women or children.

The Nazi essence of the Dashnaks, combined with the treachery of the Armenian diaspora, has once again manifested itself in Karabakh after a long period of silence. It should be noted here that all these ethnic atrocities took place not without the assistance of Moscow. And now, at any moment Moscow can unleash the bloodthirsty Armenian Dashnaks, who are furious at the successes of Azerbaijan compared to the plight of Armenia. Russia has supplied its only ally in the Caucasus with modern weapons, including S-300 anti-aircraft missiles and Iskander-M missiles, capable of delivering a precise and powerful blow deep in the rear. The presence of a Russian military base on its territory is of great military and strategic importance, ensuring Armenia's superiority in the event of a resumption of the Karabakh war. It is not entirely correct to talk about Armenia's isolation. Firstly, Armenia borders friendly Iran, and secondly, in the event of a war, Azerbaijan, surrounded by enemies on three sides, will find itself isolated. There is no need to talk about a common border with Georgia, because Georgia's position in this case is absolutely identical. From the Caspian side, Azerbaijan is easily blocked by the significantly superior naval forces of Russia and Iran. It is not without reason that in recent years these countries have been increasing their military presence in the Caspian, introducing frigates and missile boats, presumably with the aim of protecting the ecological state of the Caspian, a threat to which they see in the construction of the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. At the same time, Moscow has not shown any particular concern for the ecology of the Caspian over the decades of merciless exploitation of oil fields, as a result of which the Baku Bay was turned into a fuel oil septic tank. It seems that the Kremlin hypocrites are still little concerned about the ecology of the Baltic Sea, along the bottom of which the Nord Stream is laid, but they are even ready to fight for the ecology of the Caspian, and far from their shores. Thus, the political and economic problems, as well as the ambitions of three states aggressive in the region, are solved by the loss of independence, or even the complete disappearance of the state of Azerbaijan from the political map of the world. The only question is when this will happen, that is, when Armenia, with Russia's permission, will unleash a war. It should also be taken into account that Yerevan can independently provoke a war in order not to miss the time of military superiority. It is clear that Turkey cannot afford to remain on the sidelines and a clash with Russia is inevitable. The question involuntarily arises as to how quickly NATO is able to react. If we imagine that the West gives up Turkey and Azerbaijan, then the next in line will be the countries - the former Central Asian colonies of the USSR and, of course, Georgia. In short, Moscow will have no choice but to satisfy the request of the peoples of these countries, who unanimously wished to reunite with Russia through their free will. And the West will get the Second Cold War.

Such a scenario is quite possible given the known impotence of the West. American presidents are more often good business managers and economists, such as, for example, F. Roosevelt, who relied more on Uncle Joe (Stalin) in politics than on W. Churchill, which led to big problems after the Second World War. It seems that the West needs a new "Fulton speech" to sober up. How many times can we step on the same rake! How can we not recall the Eastern wisdom: "giving milk to a snake is the same as storing poison in it." "Friend Putin" of the political amateur Bush Jr. will still show the World the grin of a revived empire of Evil. In confirmation of what has been said, the defense of the Syrian dictator by "friend Putin" is very indicative, who "drenches" his people, just as Putin "drenched in the toilet" the Chechens. But then the West silently watched Putin's reprisal against the Chechen people. Is there a fundamental difference in this example?

The world was very lucky in the Second World War because the aggressors Germany and Russia(1) who started it locked in mortal combat, otherwise the political map would be completely different today. But is it worth playing dice, hoping for luck, and calmly watching as the Kremlin's pseudo-democrats nurture the Evil Empire, keeping the Nazis from "Great Armenia" ready for aggression on a chain and protecting the Tehran obscurantists who are reaching out for the atomic club.

No, it's feral Islmao-vermin Turks versus Armenian Christians. The only reason the West ever backed Turkey was because it wanted to keep it out of Russian hands. Outside of that it has zero value to anybody.

1 UNITED ASSYRIAN CHURCH 🙏🏼 #assyria #assyrian #assyrians ...
The term "Assyrian Orthodox Church" is often used to refer to the Assyrian Church of the East, though it is not an official name and can be confusing. The Assyrian Church of the East is a distinct Christian church with its own unique history, traditions, and theology, originating in ancient Assyria. While it shares some similarities with both the Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox churches, it is not in communion with either.
