Soy foods 'reduce sperm numbers', mimics femal hormones

There absolutely is a connection there. The woman's environment is designed to fight as many of the sperm as it can. That's why sperm count and timing is so important (along with motility and morphism). Some sperm survive better in a more acidic environment, whereas some need the alkaline.

Designed to fight sperm? That sounds like an evolutionary disadvantage...

I was just questioning your use of a linear ratio.
Simplifying it for somebody who clearly doesn't understand that it does cause problems doesn't change that it will effect your chances negatively. In fact you will probably have less than half the chance with half the sperm count.

unless u have my sperm that is so potent that it will swim up past the fallopian tube to get to an egg if its not there

Simplifying it to an idiot like you who was randomly coming up with numbers...

No, I have three times asked you to research your position, please look up "low sperm count" then come back.

And how was I to know you had researched it? You're statement looked like you had no idea what you're talking about, and were just assuming that half meant half the chance. I was not saying that a low sperm count isn't a problem, but half as much sperm as "normal" shouldn't mean anything. I've heard about problems with 5 million or so sperm, not 40.

Azoospermia is the medical condition of a male not having any measurable level of sperm in his semen. It is associated with very low levels of fertility.

Azoospermia has two forms:

* obstructive azoospermia, where sperm are created, but cannot be mixed with the rest of the ejaculatory fluid due to a physical obstruction, and;
* non-obstructive azoospermia, where there is a problem with spermatogenesis, as in the condition of hyperprolactinemia.
* congenital azoospermia, where azoospermia is a manifestation of cystic fibrosis due to agenesis of vas deferens.

Azoospermia is a reported side effect of androgen drugs and corticosteroids because they suppress the hypothalamus release of GnRH and therefore FSH. This causes azoospermia in males and amenorrhea in females.

Compare with aspermia.

If Soy products mimic female hormones does that then also have an affect on may libido and ability to maintain an erection. Seems that it might, and if it does, go easy on the soy products. But it does explain why so many vegan men are such pussies. [duck]

Watermark, just out of curiosity, were you by any chance inspired by Dixie's awesome logic in the Change??? thread when you began posting on this one?
