Spending freeze during a recession?

spending freezes will do nothing during a recession except maybe strengthen the dollar some. the only thing that gets you out of a recession is allowing people to keep more of their money by cutting their taxes.
 
I can disagree on some things and still vote for the rat.

Every economist Ive heard of says that is a stupid idea. The largest consumer is the government and if they have a spending freeze it worsens the recession.

we will see. iv sort of gotten hosed thus far in terms of timing. Not saying im not dong good but graduated in 97 and had couple good years then all of the 00's has been just flat. Had to claw for every raise and promotion most of time moving from company to company to get it. If i had graduated in 1990.. id prob be retired by now with the sweet 90's markets during peak earnings.

You didn't have the best timing but the market is going to soar so now your accumulating shares for the ride up.

So, just because I dont agree with President Obama lock stock and barrel you are going to attack me?
