St. Patrick's Day

I bet that he knows how to spell shillelagh though!!
I actually have a shillelagh back in the UK, hidden beneath the dross of years of crap in the loft or garage. I bought it in Killarney. Obviosly made as a souvenir.

Sadly Killarney is just one big tourist trap these days.

I went with a friend whose family or a related family had a 'castle' somewhere on (in/at?) the Ring of Kerry. When we eventually found it it was very very small, for a castle, and almost totally delapidated. It was grey and all castles should be grey but nothing to suggest even an exaggerated claim to fame or good fortune.

How Republicans Spent St. Patty’s Day?!!
