OHHHH the tyranny!!! When they went to the ER without insurance they were still treated! Oh the tyranny of a system that keeps them from keeling over! oh the tyranny that doctors would treat them without paying!

Requiring individual responsibility for health insurance is NOT tyranny; it's a shame we have to do it though.

While roads and healthcare are totally different issues, I live on a private road, which means to get anything done we have to get the people who live on it together to agree to pay for any work that needs to be done.

Let's just say not a lot of work gets done.

and plenty people drive on it who never pay for it; we can't fence it off.

Most people, and I would assume most New Yorkers, WANT universal healthcare.
