He is completely right....you start with yourself first, you fix yourself first, start with something small and work your way up to more difficult matters.

I come from a recovery from abuse background, I have been saying that exact same thing for 25 years.

you can have a messy room and still be off substances. I say he's anal and a bit obsessive. and didn't he have the pill problem? I do love the guy. he's a genius.

If you are unable or unwilling to confront and deal with chaos in your own bedroom then the chances that you can help others approaches zero.

The other part of that lesson is that pursing the good takes practice...start with your own life....and start small then work your way up.
 
I miss the days when political identifying terms like liberal or socialist meant different things. In our current political landscape, political identifying terms have become obsolete. There are only lefties and righties who represent the only two sides of a political war. When somebody claims to be conservative or Republican it is meaningless, since I just want to know which of the two sides he is on. Lefties, communists, Democrats, libertarians, socialists, progressives, liberals, commies and centrists all mean the same thing to me, and I just look for which of the only two sides of the war a person is on.

im not opposed to other people cleaning their rooms. ocd can be a thing though.

I would never have rotten food in my room ar anything.

there will be piles of clothes, and a jack rag or two.

I used to when I had a woman. I kinda like the way it is now, though. :)
When you aren't looking at a hot woman changing or smelling her all the time, you don't get so riled up.
