There are a few problems with it:

* It requires access to the internet to conduct a transaction.
* It requires technical expertise to use it. It's not conducive to general public use.
* The blockchain is getting quite large, slowing transactions. No protocol has been developed to alleviate this.

cops serve a purpose, which is enforcing the laws via the judicial system. cops do not defend you, nor are they the first line of defense. the courts have said, numerous times, that the police/government are not required to provide any individual protection absent some special relationship to said police/government, nor are they liable for failure to do so.

He's not arguing to get rid of cops. He simply wants them to be accountable for their actions.
Police use a 'rules of engagement' when dealing with any criminal, and that is set by the city, county, or State that hired them.

If a cop violates that, and breaks the law, THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE!

Very few cops are 'bad cops'. Most are just trying to serve their communities and keep the peace. It's no easy job.
Cops are not there to punish. Courts impose sentences, not cops. Cops WILL defend themselves. They have a right to, just as you do.

Cops are there to enforce the law, to make sure you appear before the judge if possible.
