I agree with you about knee jerk reactions to AGW. Not enough is known about the mechanisms behind it to come up with credible solutions. Not to mention the global economic and political factors. That doesn't mean that AGW is a phenomena that should be ignored. Rather it is something that needs to be better understood. That's the beef that I have with many anthropogenic climate change opponents who attempt to undermine the credibility of the science. That's just plain dumb.
