You will not believe what just happened. We pulled into the garage to get petrol and a bottle of water. When I was walking in to pay and get the water, I noticed a policeman watching a woman who was smoking while pumping petrol. I saw her and thought, "Is this lady stupid or crazy, and with the policeman right there too?!" But anyway, I went inside and got my drink.
As I was paying, I heard someone screaming. I looked out the door and the woman's arm was on fire! She was swinging her arm about and running around going crazy! I ran outside and the policeman had put her on the ground and I threw my water on her arm to help put the fire out!!
Then the officer put handcuffs on her and threw her in his car. I was thinking "what kind of person smokes near a petrol pump ffs?!" But being the nosey person that I am, I asked what he was arresting her for. He looked me square in the eyes & said . "WAVING A FIREARM!"
Now, who actually read this to the end? Made me truly laugh out loud, really needed the laugh and wanted to share hoping to bring a brief smile amongst all the sadness.
