Subject of "All Up In My Snatch" thinks The Hildebeast is swell

STY: "who's a better American, someone who stands on principle or someone who has no spine?"

Explain how these are the only two ways to describe a "better American."

I gave two choices. never did I say that these are the ONLY possibilities. it IS possible to choose a best of out of two or more choices.

because you're drunk on the kool aid.

and you're drunk on the blood of patriots, I suppose? lol

I am drunk on nothing. I am a practical man who knows how politics works in America. Is it a perfect system? Hardly. Is it better than anything else out there? undoubtedly.

I take a very active role... I am in constant email communication with fellow democrats in Maine and in Illinois and share my thoughts with them always... that's what we can do.... that, and stuff envelopes and knock on doors and give voters rides to the polls and help informed people vote absentee... and I did all those things for years and years before retiring.

and we can put our money where our beliefs are... I contribute extensively to democratic candidates and to liberal PACs.

That makes you a VIP to them....give 'em money and then more money...you've bought yourself "friends" forever, as long as you keep doing that....
I'm convinced you'll hear from them more often than not every election time....
Somewhat like a stray homeless cat you keep feeding....hard to get rid of ......

you are too weak willed to change it though. you KNOW that although you vote the letter D, they don't do what they told you they were going to do. if that's being practical, i'll pass on the spinelessness.

I give everyone's opinion the value I think it merits and deserves. As a military officer in wartime, I would give his opinions on military operations considerably more weight than, say...Obama's opinions, or my own, or yours. On personal matters, considering his own adventures, considerably less than my own opinion. Get the picture?....like your opinions on
political matters would get just about zero consideration from me......so there is not a 'yes or no' answer to your question.

you don't think that brilliant four star generals have a valid and important insight into who would make a good president?

they don't DO what they told me they were going to do? Of course they do. I am smart enough to know that, at best, politicians can only move the ball down the field in small increments... the opposition is too entrenched... they try, though, and they rarely say they will try to move it one direction and then, after being elected, try to move it in the opposite direction.

You seem uncomfortable, Commander. Are you embarrassed because you can't produce a list of The Hildebeasts' accomplishments?

why would I be embarrassed about something that is not the case? I never said I couldn't. I said I wouldn't. Why? Because you don't care a whit about her qualifications, so why in the world would I spend time trying to discuss something with you that you clearly have zero interest in learning about?

It's almost cocktail hour!

I'm very interested in seeing these accomplishments that you said she's achieved while representing NY and the USA, Commander. I completely understand why you seem reluctant to list them.

I was rather surprised by the way Petraeus took his accomplished career as a general officer and pissed it away with some terrible judgment.

Why? It is part of the cultural degradation of our society where the rich and powerful are immune.

This is what happens when morality is selective

Did I suggest you should "carve" what they thought, Commander?

Did I suggest that you look to them for political insight?

Why won't you answer the question I asked? :dunno:

let me rephrase it then... why do you think I would have any idea what anybody from that organization thought about anything? And why, then, would you bother asking me what THEY thought?
