so far for me - just today today:

dark bread - ( thick German rye) but i grabbed the last of the pumpernickel
soda machine: cartridges are "unavailable" at Wawa.
sodas at Publix: i grabbed the last of Coke Zero on the shelf

My favorite beers are starting to be restocked. St Bernadus.
 
Depending on the product I am now doing my best to lay in at least a six month supply, a year is better. Between the inflation and the lack of availability, which compound each other, this is the smart play.
 
Going the other way my wife found sponges of the size I like at Kroger for the first time in over a year, she also shops Walmart and Safeway...they have not been there either. She also found Kellogg's bran buds that had been out for months.

The worst of all is deflation when people stop buying because they expect prices to drop causing a deflationary spiral. Ask the Japanese about that.

Why Deflation Is Worse than Inflation

Deflation is worse because interest rates can only be lowered to zero. As businesses and people feel less wealthy, they spend less, reducing demand further. Prices drop in response, giving companies less profit. Once people expect price declines, they delay purchases as long as possible. They know the longer they wait, the lower the price will be. This further decreases demand, causing businesses to slash prices even more. It is a vicious, downward spiral.
