I wouldn't consider Trump a genius for conspiring with Putin...it doesn't take much to get someone to go along with what you want, particularly if you have kompromat.

If he was an unwitting dupe, then he's not fit for the office.

So in either case, it looks bad not just for Trump, but for the millions who voted for him and continue to support him.

We will see another great Conservative re-branding after this debacle, just like what happened after Bush with the teabags.

Only difference is that we now know the playbook, so re-branding Conservatism isn't going to work.
