The SC isn’t stacked with leftists (it’s not stacked with rightists either but that’s for another thread) so we’re going to do everything we can to discredit it. There’s a conservative of color on it so let’s go after him because he went on trips with friends.

I would gladly hand over a check for five thousand dollars for the right to,

The founders apparently thought the Supremes would act like educated gentlemen and be honest. With no ethics rules, the assumption had to be that they would act honestly. When they fail to do so, congress has to step in. They showed that will not preserve the reputation of the court themselves. The Supreme Court has to be respected and trusted by the people. It is one of our foundations. The Roberts court has chewed away at the foundation. It may be permanent damage.

all you had to say was you don't know. See, what you're forgetting here is HOW a justice lands on the supreme court...........you do know that process?

The founders knew many things, especially about how political parties end up corrupt because of power. When you have power mad and corrupt politicians doing the nominating AND vetting/approving, you are going to end up with politically biased judges....at least to varying degrees.

the bias you show in deference to liberally aligned justices speaks volumes about how your own opinion of them is worthless.

RBG stayed on far longer than she should have, which gave Republicans an advantage.

All the Republican Justices appointed in the past few years lied during their confirmation hearings on the subject of abortion.

Kavanaugh blatantly lied about his past.

There's a reason why SCOTUS is hitting historical lows in favorability. Who can trust liars who fail to honor their oaths?

The Supreme Court is in the Judicial branch and the Congress is in the Legislative branch.

RGB staying on was not corruption. If she quit so Obama could sit a liberal, that would have been political. We have 5 judges the righty president sat. The right gave the power to select judges to the Federalist society, which is a far righty deep state think tank , That is not their power in law. Just more whining. The court was made a political entity decades ago when leftists demanded to know a SCOTUS nominees opinions about abortion. Killing babies is the leftists most sacred sacrament. Tranny freakism is a VERY close second. That's should scare even you but I doubt it will.
