This supreme court is the most activist ever. It is legislating from the bench. They reach for cases that allow them to make changes to America that favor the anti-choice, hateful religious nuts. Expanding the court would provide temporary relief. Eventually, the Reds will be in office again and they will restart the takeover.
Well, that's clearly bullshit. The most activist court in US history was the FDR supreme court. FDR picked 8 out of 9 justices on the court, packing it with Yes men who okeydoaked his previously 90% + overturned New Deal plans. Probably his most egregious appointment was Hugo Black, a out-and-out racist bigot and KKK member who was a Democrat senator from Alabama and barely qualified in a jurisprudence sense to be on the court. Black was an all-in supporter of the New Deal and that's why FDR wanted him on the court.
Thus anything FDR wanted to do was given a green light by the Supreme Court given that 8 out of 9 Justices were his close friends, cronies, and yes men.
