The US debt is caused by Congress. The President can't fund anything. Only Congress can. The President can't borrow anything. Only Congress can.

The debt is currently $37 trillion. Just servicing the monster (not paying it off or anything!) is now the 4th largest budget item.
Revenue from all sources is currently $5 trillion.
Do the math. The U.S. is broke, living on tick.
There are three ways to raise money in the government, since they sell no product:
1. Tax it.
2. Borrow it.
3. Print it.
Taxing too much causes revolts. It is simply not possible to tax what is necessary to start to pay down the debt. It will cause a tax crash.
Borrowing it just adds more the debt. You can't pay it off that way!. That will cause a debt crash.
Printing your way out of it devalues the currency, That will cause a currency crash (high inflation).
The favored way the government is trying to use is option 3.
It ain't pretty. People are already looking around for another currency.

I can't imagine your quality of life with Trump living rent free in your otherwise empty head. You must be miserable. Have you even had a discussion about this with your wife? How is your obsession affecting her and the rest of your family?

Screw the "debt increase". We will never even come close to paying off the debt. It takes a huge chunk of the budget just to service the debt (that means just paying the interest. You probably didn't know that either).
It will be very difficult to outdo the Wall Street Mafia/CIA so called Biden Administrations 2024 performance....an alarming amount was straight up theft from the treasury.
