The tasering was bad judgment and should result in a charge. But the cover up of the crime is the far bigger offense.
I don't know. I think knocking someone out and piercing their temple has to at least come in at a close second.
But in response to Water's laissez-faire attitude about the situation:
They should be punished to the upmost. This guy was entrusted with upholding the letter the of the law and based on all of his actions from the start to finish of this article, he usurped and broken way too many for it to simply be shrupped off and given a slap on the wrist. Someone was severely injured and he covered it up. Not to mention the apparent lack of appreciation this officer has for a very dangerous weapon. I hope they give him the maximum sentence for everything he's charged with.
