Teabillies outraged as Biden drives new Ford F150 EV....America's most popular truck

Do you remember all the times your owners(Carlin) told you that putting Trump in a Truck was beyond silly, how it was a constant chorus of mockery?

"The rules are for thee, not for me".

Yeah, the idea of putting Trump in a truck is beyond silly.

The idea of putting Joe Biden in a truck is not silly at all.

Think of it this way: Putting Biden in a train travelling from Washington to his home in Delaware is not silly at all. He did it for decades when he was in the congress.

Putting Trump in a train travelling from anywhere to anywhere is fucking ridiculous.

It's just silly to put anyone in a vehicle they're not really driving...and pretend they are.....
Hope you're well and getting some rounds in...early....so freakin hot....

Make them with electric engine, but rig them up to belch some water vapor from a fake tailpipe and play a loud looped audiotrack of a Dodge Ram with a Cummins engine. The ignerunt Trumpfucks won't even know the diff.

Trump existing is fucking ridiculous.

All my golf is in the first round of the day. One of my partners is an expert at getting first spot a week in advance. He plays five days a week. I play four most weeks.

Even first round starts to get hot as the days move onto summer.

I'm not entirely sure he is not driving. He's certainly not putting or chipping.

I still disagree. the right is usually anti-EV in general, once you start talking pickups, it's even more. if I am reading correctly it's going to be very expensive as well starting at 70k.

they will most likely be the last demo to come around, but they will come a runnin when all the sane people make em look silly driving that relic from the past IMO

This truck is the fastest Ford F150 ever built, and when it's trotted out tomorrow it will instantly render the V8 gas-guzzlers obsolete....a total embarrassment if you have one of those relics sitting in your driveway while Jim down the street is going 0-60 in 4.5 seconds lol

y'all please keep fighting progress and keep looking stupid!

So? You don't buy a pick up truck to drag race. You buy it to haul and tow stuff. Electric motor vehicles are less effective at towing.

https://unlimitedrecovery.com/towin...5,000 pounds of towing and hauling capability.

So, don't expect people who are buying a pick up truck to use it for what it's designed for, rather than as some sort of status symbol, to be buying electric.

when you're driving around town how many of those pick up trucks are actually hauling anything, and how many have one passenger with an empty bed?

but you will definitely see them passing gas guzzlers with ease

why do you hate progress, and the planet for that matter?

I doubt republicans will be lining up for an electric car.

it's the dishonesty of the optics to me, that hurts, not helps the president.

Look Ma, no steering wheel!

Mine do. Every contractor in the US drives theirs into the ground hauling stuff. Plenty of people own one to tow their toy hauler or trailer to wherever on weekends, their boat to the lake, etc. I just drove from Phoenix to Prescott then to Winslow and back to Phoenix yesterday in my truck to do some electrical inspection and repair work. Parts, tools, ladders, etc., were all in the truck. Total drive was about 400 miles. I burned about one and a half tanks of gasoline. Couldn't have done that in a battery truck. No chargers in sight anywhere, charging time being what it is would have had me sleeping in my truck somewhere (the hotels were full). Didn't see a single Tesla anywhere compared to seeing them some in Phoenix. You just can't do that with battery electric. Oh, I also was driving pretty steady 80 mph on the Interstate in heavy wind that often would add to the drag on the vehicle.
Then there was the haul up the Mongollon Rim and through the Verde Valley. Those two hill climbs would have laid waste to a battery vehicle.

Me? I want what works and battery vehicles don't work. What works is going to fuel cells using hydrogen or ammonia.

Oh, if they want me to go back to Winslow to do the building I inspected, I'll be taking 500 feet of 12/2 BX, 250 feet of 12/3 BX, 150 feet of 10/2 BX, rolls of THHN wire, conduit, ladders, 8 large ceiling fans, lighting, fixture boxes, and towing a trailer with a two man scissor lift on it.

No battery truck has the range to do that.

Rivian can tow somewhere in the ball park of 11,000 lbs. https://www.caranddriver.com/rivian...hat every R1T,payload capacity of 1760 pounds.

For comparison a Hemi Ram can tow about 12,750. Not that far off

I was wrong about there being a second steering wheel, it was a camera. The Biden not driving conspiracy has been busted.

Representative Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich) who was with Mr Biden during his visit to the Ford Center also shared a photo of the truck. And it also didn’t show any second steering wheel.“

It has been debunked, sorry. :(

There was no second wheel.

So now the president is a truck driver, huh?
Did he switch parties, or is he going for a laugh?

I picture my man Bernie in a 1952 MGTD.
Nice scarf and cap, Bernie!
