Police arrested a 6th grade school teacher for allegedly having inappropriate email exchanges with a student.

A three-day investigation involving the 50-year-old teacher and a student under the age of 16 was launched after school administrators alerted the school resource officer of the alleged inappropriate activity.

According to police, the two allegedly exchanged over 100 inappropriate emails, which were sexual in nature.

A 47-year-old teacher was arrested for investigation of sexual abuse of a minor after police found him with a juvenile girl Friday afternoon.

Officers said they found Jerry Mares with a minor and determined he was engaged in a sexual relationship with her.

Married Christian School Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sexual Battery of Teenage Student

A teacher at a Christian school in Florida has been arrested for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with one of her teenage male students.

Suzanne Lea Owen, 35, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and charged with one count of custodial sexual battery, a first-degree felony.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Special Victims Unit responded to Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers.

Eric Pieklo, a 50 year-old teacher at Sayreville High School, was taken into custody Friday and faces four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and five counts of engaging in criminal sexual contact with female students between 16 and 18 years of age.

Husband catches Christian school teacher in bed with student, police say

A former Oregon Christian school teacher was arrested last week for allegedly having sex with a teenage student, according to authorities.

Andrea Nicole Baber, 29, was arrested at her home in Cottage Grove, Ore. on Friday, over a week after her husband walked in on her and the teen in bed, Oregon newspaper The News-Review reported, citing court documents.

According to authorities, the student's father reported Baber to police on Dec. 12, after he received an anonymous email asking whether he was aware that his son and the Logos Christian Academy teacher were having a sexual relationship, local outlet the Register-Guard reported.

A teacher at Andrew Jackson Middle School who is a former Miss Kentucky has been arrested for allegedly sending nude photos to a former student.

According to a criminal complaint, Ramsey BethAnn Bearse has been charged with felony distribution if an obscene matter to a minor.

According to court documents, on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018, the mother of the student reached out to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office to say that Bearse sent inappropriate photos to her 15-year-old son.

The student had attended Andrew Jackson Middle School where Bearse was a teacher.

Deputies say they spoke to Bearse on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 and she admitted to sending the 15-year-old at least four photos of her nude chest on Snapchat.

They were both this year, it's not like it happened 20 years ago.

Raincross High School teacher Thomas Broden, 61, of Laguna Niguel, was arrested in Riverside on December 4, on suspicion of soliciting a minor for sex.

It matters because I can find tons of RECENT arrests while you have to go back months (and even years) in your attempt to "prove" that Christian school teachers get arrested too.

Do you need a grown-up to explain what frequency of events signifies?

Using covert computer software to follow an internet trail, federal agents arrested an Otsego County teacher accused of downloading and distributing child pornography.

Justin Hobbie, 41, of Springfield Center, was charged Friday in federal court after an investigation by U.S. Homeland Security and the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He is accused of receiving and distributing child porn using an online peer-to-peer network.

A Kansas teacher has been charged with dealing methamphetamine in Oklahoma.

37-year-old Melissa Abla and a man were arrested last month after law enforcement executed a search warrant at their home in Tyrone, Oklahoma. Abla taught at Seymour Rogers Middle School in Liberal. The school district didn't immediately return a phone message.

She is charged in Oklahoma with five felonies and one misdemeanor. Bond is set at $250,000.

A Bartow Middle School teacher has been arrested for DUI in Winter Haven.

The sheriff's office was called to Cypress Gardens Boulevard near Helena Road around 8 p.m. Tuesday for the report of a blue pickup truck driving erratically.

A witness reported seeing the truck hit a Nissan then try to speed away. No one in the Nissan was injured.

The witness then saw the driver apparently lose control and go off the road. An arrest affidavit says the truck hit a telephone pole, crashed through a fence and hit a water main.

Deputies responded and spoke with the driver of the pickup truck, identified as 29-year-old Dyrren Barber. He was not injured in the crash.

The affidavit says the deputies smelled the odor of alcohol and noticed Barber appeared to be intoxicated. While performing field sobriety tests, deputies say Barber showed several signs of impairment.

Barber was arrested for DUI with property damage and taken to the Polk County Jail. He submitted two breath tests showing a 0.263 BAC and a 0.255 BAC, according to deputies. Both are twice the legal limit.
