It does look like Trump is intending to go to war with Deep State.....this has a lot to do with why try are pushing hard for the start of WW3 before Jan 20.
 
It would be pretty shocking if the transition team did not do the basic vetting during which this event would have come out....much more likely that Trump and team knew about the claim, and knew it was BS.
