and thereafter at points along time Democrats became the party of revolt, hippies, gays, minorities, labor, free love, ERA, Title IX, civil rights act, JFK, drugs, conscientious objection, anti war. And along the line those things made the Republican party the party of tight ass religious uneducated old white working men whose fathers were all in the KKK.

Sessions is from Selma Alabama and represents a Selma that was once the crown jewel of commerce in the state until heroes like John Lewis turned the whole place into a shining example of liberal degradation.
