I had a bunch of things in my cart. A bike tire went from $18.50 to $25. Two pairs of insoles went from 1.60 to 2.80. An elbow sleeve from 2.50 to 3.66. Happened overnight! Trump needs to stop playing nice with the chinese. Make them remove their tariffs and we'll remove ours. I suggest he kick out the 300,000 chinese citizens in our colleges. They're all spies anyway.

Having American Products price competitive on the world market is not great harm.


Yes, The Asymmetrical Tariffs from China are a problem. But the Trade Strategic Product Dumping from China is a much, much bigger problem. What is being done to address the Product Dumping?


Trump2 is doing good work for the American People, but allot more of this type of "International Adjustment" will need to be done.

Putting HUGE HUGE tariffs on almost EVERYTHING you buy IS harmful.
Do you have any idea on just how many ' AMERICAN MADE " Products depend on parts imported from other countries to make them?
Add the tariffs on those parts to the price of a American made products does NOT help.
Tariffs if REASONABLE can help but tariffs of 25/30/ 40 150 and even 3251% YES there is a country Trump has put a tariff of 3251% on, How stupid is that?
And to be able to get where we will have 100% completely made products will take many many years.
We do not have the manufacturing infrastructure in place to do it now.
Right now tariffs as high as Trump is putting in place will just do a LOT of harm to the American people, it is the CONSUMER that will be paying them NOT the exporting countries , they will just pass them on and WE will be paying them.

Oh no, dirt-cheap Chinese trinkets cost more now? Cry me a river. The Greatest Generation would totally high-five us for sobbing over plastic junk. Can we live without useless crap for five seconds? Libtards will whine about everything but do not let the media experts bum you out. We are winning. Chinas economy is tanking and tariffs are the last thing they needed. They will act tough but defeat is coming.

I hope we keep fairly high tariffs on China. They are after world domination and not subtle about it. They have been choking our access through Panama and the poles like Greenland while gutting our supply chain.

Given a bit more time, they could crash our economy by flipping the supply switch. They almost had everyone chanting China First until someone caught on, someone meaning Trump. So, wail over your cheap toys. I will buy better stuff from anywhere but China.
