Texas Abortion Opponents To Cheer Selves Up With Execution

Whilst agreeing with you about the system, can you explain how executing someone is more expensive that incarceration?
It depends on the system. In China, which does not have the gaurentees of personal liberties it's way cheaper to put a bullet in the back of some ones heads. In our system in which there is a tremendous amount of due process of law required before a person can be executed the cost is substantially more than housing a criminal for life.

Yes, it is fascinating that some states are considering abandoning the death penalty due to cost.

Well, let's all just hope that, as Texas celebrates a landmark anniversary, this 500th execution will be the one that acts as a deterrent.

Yup....and some have abandoned due to apparent inequities. Take Texas for example. The majority of the executed are minorities. If you're white and/or have financial means to provide for a decent legal defense your odds of getting the death penalty, in convicted are far lower.

I have no problem with the cost of the death penality discouraging the State for executing convicted prisoners.......but then again I oppose the death penalty in general.

especially the unborn....

You're a "religious man". What do you think happens to the unborn? Their souls are unstained. Seems to me that God would welcome them with open arms.

The sin is on the living who made the decision. A sin that can be forgiven.

I mean, how far do you want to take this? How about we throw adulterers in prison? How about we give kids who masturbate 10 lashes? Prostitutes get the death penalty? How far does your sexual crusade go?

you should be more concerned about the souls of those who cheer the killing of children.....and only a fucking idiot would think my crusade is related to sex.......or course, since you ARE a fucking idiot, that probably didn't need pointing out......

Nope! you can say that all you want you will just continue to look like the hater you are!
The only think I hate are non college educated right wingers
Anti abortion
Unless its them
And cannabis Prohibitionist
They are usually religious pagans or racist

I do have a problem with individuals murdering people. When they get caught, I want them prosecuted. If they are convicted, I want them imprisoned. I do not want the state killing them because the state doesn't care if they have the right person. Don't believe me, watch what the state does when actual evidence is discovered that proves the person convicted is actually innocent. The state will fight to the bitter end to keep that evidence from ever getting to a judge. They don't want their conviction rate upset, they are trying to protect the win-loss ratio. Prosecutors will fight DNA evidence tooth and nail when it hurts their conviction but they will tell you that it is perfect when it convicts.
