The only voting by mail I'm for is absentee ballots that were applied for. Irrelevant.
I didn't request a ballot in our last muni election and got one in the mail. The election before that I never received my ballot in the mail so the only way I could vote was in person at one of the two polling places. The lines at both were wrapped around the block. I waited about an hour and the line moved maybe 20' so I gave up. I couldn't wait another two hours or so to vote irst election in my life that I can remember where I was unable to vote.
Some do, some don't.
Last muni election boxes of unmarked ballots were spirited into the same room as marked ballots in the middle of the night. Gee, what could possibly go wrong with that?
Fortunately Bronson's observers were posted 24 hrs. a day outside where the ballots were kept until the winner was declared and called the police to have them removed.
Most of my life polling stations were open from early in the morning until 8:00 pm. We usually knew the outcome by early the next morning. No one ever had a problem with that until recently. Now it's *racism*, voter suppression.
