I went to my son's School's Thanksgiving Day Feast today.
I was the only father at the school. That is pittafull and sad for the kids. One boy asked, "does "Jimmy" (not my sons name) get to see you every day?" Another asked if I came to town for Thanksgiving.
What the hell, am I the only father who belives going to these type of things is important? I understand that not everyone can get time to do this, but I should not have been the only father out of like 60 kids.
Is this a political issue, do LIberals feel differently about this than Conservatives, I dont think so but I wanted to ask.
BTW, I accidently ate my son's teachers piece of pecan pie that she put away to enjoy later.
