Earlier today, I spoke with president-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power. A fundamental principle of American democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the results.

I had my first loss in a civil trial this year, it really sucked. I was gun-shy setting new ones for trial, but I had to, and I’m better for the process.
I’d never call someone a loser because they lost one.
BTW , I shook the opposing counsel’s hand and told him he did a great job afterward. That didn’t stop me from filing an appeal with the 4th DCA, and who knows I might get to retry that case.
